Why a Purple Butterfly?

  • Scholar Women of GAP project was inspired by the life cycle of the butterfly. Therefore, SWOG use a butterfly metaphor in its’ logo.

  • The butterfly in the logo both symbolizes the evolution to a better version (Just as butterflies turn from caterpillars to butterflies) and courage and going out of bounds (Like butterflies coming out of cocoon)

  • Purple represents nobility and elegance just like women.
